Marquee Bar

The Marquee Bar is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine over a light lunch and a refreshing drink. Located on Marquee Deck 8, the Marquee Bar offers casual al fresco dining with favourites such as fish & chips, sandwiches and soup of the day on the menu. Not feeling peckish? Why not enjoy an exotic cocktail, a glass of wine or a cold beer instead?

Neptune Lounge

Take your seat in the Neptune Lounge and enjoy a variety of entertainment, music, dance, and comedy with your friends, family and fellow guests. Located towards the bow of the ship on Lounge Deck 5, the Neptune Lounge is the larger of two entertainment venues on board Braemar and there’s usually two performances here each evening, so there’s the chance catch a show no matter what your dining time is.

During the day, the Neptune Lounge is also the venue for an array of engaging and insightful lectures, workshops, classes, tutorials and much more. You might have the opportunity to listen to fascinating talks from astronomers and war veterans; learn how to ballroom dance and create the perfect watercolour painting; or even take cooking tips from the executive chef on board.

The Coral Club

The Coral Club is Braemar’s intimate entertainment venue and offers a great alternative to the larger and busier Neptune Lounge. Ideal for pre-dinner drinks or after-dinner dancing, the Coral Club comes to life in the evening with fantastic live music performed by our resident singers and bands.

Indulgent afternoon tea is also often enjoyed by guests in the Coral Club, while other daytime activities here include brain-teasing quizzes and ever-popular games of Bingo.

Morning Light Pub

Decorated to resemble a British pub or inn, the Morning Light Pub has a welcoming atmosphere and charming traditional style. It’s the ideal place to relax and socialise with friends both old and new.

Sit at the bar and chat with the friendly staff over a pint of beer or a glass of wine; or perhaps put your feet up and be entertained by occasional live music and performances from stand-up comedians.

Bookmark Café

Located next to the Library on Lounge Deck 5, the aptly-named Bookmark Café is an indulgent delight that’s not to be missed. You’ll find an assortment of delectable chocolates to devour here, from extravagant champagne truffles to melt-in-your-mouth caramel hearts, alongside a tempting menu of specialty hot drinks – choose from Taylors of Harrogate’s intense coffees and a selection of traditional teas such as earl grey and English breakfast.

Satisfy your sweet tooth and cater to your caffeine cravings in the most unforgettable way while cruising the world’s waterways aboard Braemar.

Located towards the bow of the ship on Marquee Deck 8 and boasting spectacular panoramic views, the Observatory Lounge is a wonderful place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Sit around the bar in the centre of the lounge, or perhaps take a seat by one of the large windows and lose yourself in the stunning sights while listening to the twinkling sounds of a grand piano.

The Observatory Lounge is also the venue for our premium Traditional Afternoon Tea service, which offers guests a selection of delicious sandwiches, cakes, pastries and scones accompanied by premium teas and unforgettable views.

The Library is stocked with a wide range of titles, from epic novels to biographies and books of general interest, as well as a selection of CDs and DVDs. Clad in mahogany and oozing a sense of classic, traditional style, the Library on board Braemar is a delightful retreat in which to escape from it all and relax.

Discover the Promenade on Lounge Deck 5 and start your day with a stroll in the sea breeze, catch some sunshine with an afternoon meander around the ship, or enjoy a romantic after-dinner walk under moonlight as the ship glides gently across the water.

There are often games of shuffleboard or deck quoits taking place on the Promenade, which you’re always welcome to join. Just don’t forget to look up from time to time, as you never know what stunning sights are coming up on the horizon.
